Julia D’Silva is developing a diverse litigation practice.

Before returning to Chernos Flaherty Svonkin LLP as an associate, Julia was a summer law student and articling student at the firm. She received her JD from the University of Ottawa. During law school, Julia was a Teaching Assistant for a Dispute Resolution and Professional Responsibility course and completed an internship with the National Self-Represented Litigants Project. She also volunteered with the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund, and was the director of the law school’s annual musical. Prior to attending law school, Julia gained experience in the public sector, working at the Senate of Canada. Julia graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa’s Conflict Studies and Human Rights program with an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in the French Immersion stream.
